More About Teri Rudolph

Teri Rudolph has spent the majority of her life working with dogs in one capacity or another.

As a child it was spending time learning about the family dogs and how they can be taught a number of skills. During high school, she thrived at babysitting and working at a local dog boarding facility. Her duties included caring for the animals by feeding, exercising them and keeping the facility clean. In addition, providing the owner with extra help when her Labrador Retrievers dogs were bred and whelped. Caring for puppies meant careful handling, socialization and positive first experiences for the puppies for them to thrive.

After high school Teri’s life took a different professional turn as she became a corporate Travel Agent and managed a number of employees. But in the background, she still worked with Labrador Retrievers and raised 5 beautiful litters over a span of 10 years. Eventually Ms. Rudolph became interested in breed shows with her beloved Labrador Retrievers Daisy and Molly. This is when she became very interested in dog training after attending some classes with a positive reinforcement trainer. It was incredible to see how Positive Reinforcement training created the most incredible and trusting bond between dog and human. One based on love and affection, not fear and intimation. It wasn’t long before Teri was attending the Animal Behavior Colleges’ dog training program. Still working as a Travel

Agent, dog training became a passion that led to where she is today. No longer a travel agent she has dedicated herself totally to helping dogs become their best self with the help of their humans. Teri facilitated training at two separate Veterinarians offices in the capital district before moving to the training locations that she uses today. In addition, she volunteered for Mohawk and Hudson Humane Societies STAR program at the Albany County Jail. STAR Program | Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (mohawkhumane.org) This program helps homeless dogs and positively impacts the lives of the inmates. In addition Teri is a trainer for a very important not-for-profit organization called Operation At Ease. OperationatEase.org takes dogs from shelters and pairs them with deserving veterans and first

responders and provides them with a free guided training program for post traumatic stress and light mobility dogs. If you would like to know more or learn how Teri Rudolph’s dog training Services can help you, please contact Teri Rudolph 518-209-2136 teri_rudolph@yahoo.com
